Not had the time to do anything much with this place recently. Sorry about that. Some new content though, as you can see above. The Families is a story idea I actually had on Friday morning on the train, so it's really quite a new one! Currently the idea is more just the world than the plot, though characters are starting to populate my already overcrowded mind. And characters have a way of telling me their own stories, without too much input needed from me. So watch this space.
Black Dog vs Strange Things. That's an interesting one. Strange Things is the working title for the first real story I ever tried to write. I started it about ... oh, gosh ... 4 or 5 years ago now, and spent most of University struggling through the first 7 chapters of it before giving it up as a bad job. It was dead, totally. Then, a strange girl walked into my head, Errin became Erran, and Black Dog came insistently, irrepressibly to life; slobbering all over my sub conscious and shedding hairs in my imagination. It's the same story as Strange Things, but a mutant, dreamy, bizarre retelling. It's not written, and wont be for sometime, but I'm already in love with it.
Dishova - these chapters have been written for a while now, but I never got around to putting them up on here. I hope you enjoy them. The story is coming along well. The characters have matured in my mind and certain plot bits that were shadowy have started to make more sense. I'm confident this will be a good story when it's told. In desperate need of revision of course, but this is just the first, tender, naive draft.
