How to add a link to be downloaded
Right click on the link
From the context menu select 'Copy Shortcut' or 'Copy Url/Link Location'
Note: If the Download Mage is set to monitor clipboard and the file type of the download is predefined for monitoring then the link will be automatically captured.
Right click on the icon (
) and select New URL
Move the mouse in the white box in New URL window and press Ctrl + V to paste the link
Press the OK button

Click once on the System Tray icon (
)
In the Bandwidth Limit window enter a number that represents the number of kilobytes per second (kbps) of your connection speed that would be assigned to the downloads by Download Mage
Check Enable
Note: If you dont check the Enable option, Download Mage recieves the downloads at the maximum speed that is allowed by your connection
Press the cross button in the top right corner of the window

Starting/Resuming all downloads
Right click on the system tray icon (
)
From the context menu select Start Downloading

A sticky note for the progress of the download
Double click on the System Tray icon (
)
Press Dialog View button if
list view opens (
)
In the Dialog View Press the Action button
From the context menu select Open Sticky Note

Sticky note will remain on top of every application (
)
Press the Hide button to hide the Dialog view window

From the context menu select Note Options > Close all notes

Monitoring clipboard for any links
Note: For browsers that do not support Download Mage. Internet Explorer, Netscape and Opera do support Mage
Right click on the system try icon (

Select Support Menu > Preferences
In the Download Mage Preferences window select the Monitor
tab (
)
Select the option 'Enable Web Browser Monitoring'
Select the option 'Monitor the system clipboard for URLs'
Press the Ok button

Adding the file extensions that should be monitored for download
Right click on the system tray icon (
)
Select Support Menu > Preferences
In the Download Mage Preferences window select the Monitor
tab (
)
In the lower half of the window, on the left is the list of the file types
that are set to be downloaded by Download Mage (
)
Enter the new extension name in the small text box just above the add button
Press the Add button
Press the Ok button

Removing an entry from the list of file extensions that should be monitored for download
Right click on the system tray icon (
)
Select Support Menu > Preferences
In the Download Mage Preferences window select the Monitor
tab (
)
In the lower half of the window, on the left is the list of the file types
that are set to be downloaded by Download Mage (
)
Click on the extension name from the list of extensions
Press the Remove button
Press the Ok button

Setting up for Multiple Downloads at the same time
Right click on the system try icon (
)
Select Support Menu > Preferences
In the Download Mage Preferences window, under the heading Multiple Downloads in the field Up to _ total connections at same times type a number to represent the number of total connections that are made for a/all downloads

Below this option, in the field Up to _ connections per file (spiliting download), enter a number to represent the number of connections that are made to a server for the splited/segmented download of a file for speed
In the field A segment should be _ Kbyte/s or larger, enter a number that should represent the size of a segment of a file if the numbers of connections for split download is more than one
Press Ok

Installing support for Internet Explorer, Netscape and Opera browsers
Right click on the system try icon (

Select Support Menu > Preferences
In the Download Mage Preferences window select the Setup
tab (
)
Press the Install Support button for your browser/s
Press Ok

Stopping and resuming individual downloads
Double click on the System Tray icon (
)
Press List View button if
Dialog view opens (
)
In the List View click on the file you want to stop being downloaded or to resume downloading

Press the red squar button to stop and the blue
triangle button to resume (
