A teenage girl has sued an online service because she met a guy online, after becoming friends, she met him after school, went to a restaurant, movie and to his apartment where according to the girl she was raped. She blames the service for letting this man reach her.

Many little girls and women get raped all over the world. And sometimes boys and men are raped by women. And sometimes teenage children are 'just having fun' with an adult and the wrong types of adults take it seriously.

The Australian government is spending AUS$120 million to provide Australian families with a free Net Filtering software so that they could prevent their young ones from watching porn.

Those who are willing to commit a sin, they find ways no matter what. Todays younger generation is far more technologically aware than their parents. Most of the times their parents think they have secured their children from pornography and the children find way around the filtering softwares. There are many cracking tools out there.

While I feel sorry for all the victims of rape and of injustice, I would blame the girl, her parents and her government too. And I think that Net Filters alone are not enough.

I think it would be wise to nib the evil in the bud.

This is what Islam tells us. If they are afraid of the punishment then they would think twice before doing wrong. And if all wrong people fear severe punishments and death, they would think twice before promoting sins. The rate of crime and sin will go down. Because then very few people will be willing to find, and to select, the least difficult way among few ways possible, for committing a sin.
