As was expected from Apple, they have promised they would look into the accusations that were made by some UK paper.

Lets see what happens. As I said earlier that Apple's effort alone won't be enough. It will be very good on the part of Apple but still not the solution. Other companies and the organizations like ILO, HR, WTO and above all UN, have to work together to bring about a change which has to start from our educational institutes, like Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge and the Accel day care center in my neighborhood.

Let me explain.

Today a carpenter is working in our house. He is repairing the front windows. In the morning he asked me to get some stuff for him. And later in the afternoon I saw him resting and smoking rather than working.

I had two options here. Either I measure my success by the amount of time and money I or those working for me, spend . Or by the amount of happiness, peace of mind, love and respect from others in my life.

I could have bargained at every shop and could have waited to find the shop that sold me the stuff that the carpenter needed for the lowest price. That way I could have saved little money. And I would have had the sense of saving alot since its little that adds up to make alot. And later in the day I could have scolded the carpenter for wasting time and not doing his job. He is being paid on daily basis which means that if he does not finishes his work on time, he will have to do that work the next day. Which means I will have to pay him more. And that meant I would not have the sense of saving little to have alot.

What do I do?

I choose the second option.

I just go and buy the stuff from a shop that I just think would not steal from me and just say to the salesman that if he can decrease the prices, I would be thankful. No I don't bargain more than that and I don't try to find the cheapest shop. When I found the carpenter resting, I wanted to scold him but that didn't felt right. Why? Because I asked myself, that if I would have been working in this hot weather since morning, won't I be tired? And the little money that I would have to give him tomorrow, that is if he doesn't finishes work today, will be like spending money to beautify my heaven. So instead of scolding him I get him a bottle of cold water.

Now wasn't that easy on me? I didn't had to walk around and DECIDE which shop is cheap. And I saved alot of time. And the weather was hot too.

I didn't had to argue with him. I would have said some and he would have said some. That would have only created tension for both of us. And we all know tension is not good for our health. And on that I would not have had this man's respect if I would have scolded. Because he knew that I let it go.

Peace, love, happiness and respect is all there. And money, well Islam tells us that if you let go of your money in the name of Allah, according to your needs and to make your's and other's life easier, Allah will give you far more.

Now, in big educational institutes like Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge, the students are taught to measure their success by measuring their bank balances and properties. We all accept that and work, work and work most of the time to be successful. The work keeps us away from our families. From our loved ones. Or from the ones who love us. Those little ones, in the Accel day care center in my neighborhood would later realize that their parents didn't had enough time for them.

The more money you have, the less satisfied you feel. Because money, no matter how much, may end one day.

Allah is there forever.

Trust me.
